In my opinion nothing beats a regular burger but it’s good to switch things up and take the healthier route sometimes. This turkey burger is packed with flavor and you won’t miss the beef while eating it, trust me.
I love getting recipes from Mix and Match Mama and her burger recipes always have open faced burgers and its brilliant because let’s be honest we don’t want to always eat a burger wrapped in lettuce. I ate this turkey burger cutting each bite with a knife and fork and it was DELICIOUS!
Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers
Spinach & Feta Turkey Burger
This turkey burger is packed with flavors of the Mediterranean and is so delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- EVOO
- 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper
- 10 oz box of frozen spinach thawed and all excess water squeezed out
- 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 pints cherry tomatoes
- 4 burger buns
Instructions

Gather all the ingredients: ground turkey, EVOO, poultry seasoning, s & p, spinach, feta, garlic, tomatoes, and burger buns
Grill

Preheat outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to med-hi heat.
Preheat oven to 425°
Make turkey patty's

Get out a bowl and add 3 tbsp of EVOO, poultry seasoning, and a big pinch of salt and pepper to the ground turkey.

Next, add in the drained spinach, one cup of feta and chopped garlic.

Mix all ingredients together with your hands.

Divide meat mixture into four sections to make 4 turkey patties.
Bake Tomatoes

Line a cooking sheet with foil for less clean up (I forgot to, lol) and put cherry tomatoes on baking sheet, drizzle EVOO and salt and pepper and mix to coat each tomato. Put into oven and roast for 15 minutes.
Grill Turkey Burgers

Grill the patties for around 8 minutes per side.
Assemble the Turkey Burgers

Put a toasted flat side of the bun down onto the plate, followed by a cooked turkey patty. Top the patty with the roasted tomatoes and sprinkle on top some feta cheese. Enjoy!
