St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner!
Now would be a great time to add a book to your Kiddie Literature and order a festive shirt for your kids.
Ten Lucky Leprechauns / The Secret Life Of Leprechauns / Tyler’s Shirt
Truth be told cocktail glasses don’t like me, they tend to break. Which brings me to my next FAVORITE new cocktail glasses! I went with Juliska Carine Double Old Fashioned glasses from Nordstrom.
I’m always on the hunt for new nuts to enjoy as an afternoon snack and these Everything but the Bagel Nut Duo’s are a must buy the next time you are at Trader Joe’s….they are SO good!
Next up on my list of FAVES for the week is my new book that I’m reading called, “Grace not Perfection” “Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy”, by Emily Ley. First of all I’m a huge fan of Emily Ley’s, I love her paper planners and have been purchasing them for years. So, naturally I wanted to check out her book because 1. I’m always trying to give myself more grace as well as giving more of it to others, 2. I’m always trying to roll back the urge on expecting perfection out of myself. This seemed like a no-brainer to add to my leisurely reading. I set a timer in the morning and depending on how much time I have, I read for 10-15 minutes and I’m LOVING it!
I love how it has little sections within the book, like this one below, for you to reflect and to think on different areas of your life and on how you are feeling in this moment.
Which brings me to another FAVORITE that brings me life and that is our Master Calendar. I’ve purchased these monthly calendars from Paper Source for years. I hang them on our bulletin board in the office so the entire family can see what we are up to for the month. In the side section I write out our monthly to-do’s for Jason and I and YES I check them off when we complete them! It’s a nice at-glance to refer to easily as a family.
A FAVORITE lunch of mine lately has been this healthy Cobb Salad. It has so many good toppings that you won’t even miss having a dressing, PROMISE!!
Ingredients:
- 5oz Chicken Breast
- 2 cups Romaine
- 1 Hard Boiled Egg
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Cucumber
- 2 tbsp Sunflower Seeds
- 1 slice Bacon
- 1/4 cup mushrooms
My FAVORITE helper every Tuesday when we go grocery shopping is TYLER! Trust me I know how lucky I am to have a son that loves every part of this chore….pushing the cart, putting food in the cart, emptying the cart at check out, carrying in the groceries, and unloading every bag. He helps with it ALL every week and it brings him so much joy which is why I don’t order or pick up my groceries, I just can’t take this happiness away from him, LOL.
Thank you so much for reading along today. I hope my FAVORITES inspire you in different areas and will bring you joy!
Next week I have a bunch of posts for you to look forward to:
