It’s been a busy and full season of life and I’ve been pulled in different directions, that’s a moms life, right?!? But I’m back at it with my blog, however, it will be a more modified schedule per some updates I explain in todays post.

Do I enjoy Valentine’s Day, yes I do. I love celebrating all holidays. I mean I’m not going to turn down a day to show my boys they are loved 🥰

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day by going on a adults only date or celebrate as a family?

Working from home has its perks, I surprised Jason with a romantic breakfast at home and it was perfect to have this alone time while the boys were at school. We celebrated as a family too. Jason and I cooked together and made our boys a steak dinner. And we enjoyed dinner in the dining room to feel more fancy.

I’m starting a new post series called, Cooking With Kids!

My boys have recently taken an interest in wanting to learn how to cook. And I’m loving this bonding experience with them.

The plan is to cook our way through a kids cookbook by The Food Network, called “The Big, Fun Kids Cookbook”.
They pick out two recipes to make each week.

Last week we made French Grilled Cheese and Apple Fries + Nut Butter Dip!

I’m still reminiscing back to our family ski trip in Utah over the holidays!🎿❄️⛷It was our most memorable ski trip to date and so many memories were made! Utah was so beautiful and good to us!

Jason is 40!!!🥳 He joined the 40’s club on Thanksgiving while we were in Florida!

My in-laws and I threw Jason a 40th b-day party while we were in Florida too. It was awesome to have family from 4 different states come in and 5 of Jay’s best buddies and their families join in on the celebration too!

Happy Friday, friends!! After school starts Fall break and we’re looking forward to an awesome week ahead of us in Florida!!

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving?

We are headed to Florida to be with all of Jason’s family, aunts & uncles all of them and we can’t wait! Best part my parents are joining us too because Jason turns the big 4-0 on Thanksgiving!! Can’t wait to spoil and celebrate my hubs 🥳

But first I have a Friday Favorites post up on the blog today…and it covers things like these pictures from Knott’s Berry Farm! None of my boys had been and I haven’t been since I was a young kid and it was so much fun! Not as crowded as say Disneyland and so many fun rides. We went to celebrate Luke’s friend Noah and I got to hang out with my friend Rebecca and we had a perfect amusement park day all together.

This week I want to be mindful of all of my wonderful blessings, I’m very thankful for all of you and the wonderful friendships and family in my life. Hope you have a great weekend!!

Happy Wednesday, friends!! Who’s ready for Fall break? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I was MIA last week because we were dealing with a cold going through our house but we are all healthy now and I’m feeling thankful my boys are back to their high energy selves!!

Ok, so do you dress up for Halloween? Some years I’m on it and some years we have a family theme but it didn’t work for this year. Now I do enjoy dressing up but I find the process stressful and I procrastinated this year 🥴 do I run to a store and grab something or just throw something together with what I have???🤷🏼‍♀️

What’s up Wednesday!!! I don’t know about you but this week seems busier with Halloween activities, the usual sports activities and then I noticed I scheduled the boys dentists appointments this week too 😲. I guess it’s good to have it before they eat a ton of candy, lol 🤷🏼‍♀️
