Mom with a Plan

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday, friends!

It’s been a busy week for us!! We’ve been enjoying all the end of the year fun activities at school. Next week is the last full week of school before summer starts and we are PUMPED!

Let’s get down to our FAVORITES for the week…

Sleepover with cousins

I arrived back home from Cabo on Friday night and put on my mommy & auntie hat and watched my brother’s boys over the weekend.

Listening to them play games together was a FAVORITE!

Baseball Game

Having fun being active together in our cul-de-sac was a FAVORITE!

Night Swimming

The music was on, the floats are back in the pool and the boy energy was running high with excitement!

Memories were made and watching the cousins all together was a FAVORITE! And it was tiring, lol!

Nordstrom’s Dresses

In my spare time, I’ve been shopping for lots of specific things which is not my favorite kind of shopping. However, I’ve been successful at Nordstroms and the LOFT. This cute black dress by French Connection will be worn at the Opera when we are in Budapest this summer. You can find the dress HERE.

Finding this cute dress by PAIGE was a FAVORITE! I’ve scheduled our first family professional pictures to be taken in October. I usually find what I’m going to wear and then build everyones outfits around it to coordinate. I wasn’t looking for this when I was shopping but when you find a great dress, you gotta grab it. You can find it HERE.

Political Meeting

My mom is the president for her women’s group or Orange County (I’m not going to say for which party because I don’t want to get political in this space) and I attended the meeting. Watching her in action was a FAVORITE! I’m so proud of my mom and the hard work she puts in for our state.

I got to meet some candidates that are running for Governor of CA and that was a FAVORITE. Here we are with Shawn Collins. Fun fact, he is friends with my brother Forrest and their families live in the same community of Coto de Caza. Here’s your reminder to get out there and vote in the Primary Election, your vote does matter!!

Clean Out

I’m still working on my clean out list from the new year, lol. Yup, the momentum slows but I will get it all done at some point. This week I worked on the kid area in our family room. It made me sad that I no longer need toy bins as much but it was a FAVORITE to make these shelves more functional with items Tyler actually uses.

Chores

This guy keeps me on the chore game because he is very driven to earn money and to help others. I have to force myself to not do chores that they can do while they are at school. This is hard for me because I’m a stay at home mama and I just want it done fast. This week Tyler’s been emptying the dishwasher, he wiped down the baseboards throughout the entire house and cleaned the stair railings. I now need to remember to pay him but something tells me he won’t let me forget.

Games and Puzzles

Tyler is on a puzzle kick this week and it’s a FAVORITE!

Luke received a punishment this week and we took away the majority of his screen time, for sure not a FAVORITE for him but it led to playing games together after dinner which was a FAVORITE for us!

Back to School Night

Tyler was SO excited for his first back to school night! It was a FAVORITE to see both my boys projects and all the hard work they’ve been doing this year.

Tyler with his Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Young. She is for sure a FAVORITE of ours!

In case you missed it….
