This easy meal is quick to prepare, flavorful and needs to be in your rotation for weeknight meals!
Slow-cooker
Get out your slow cooker and add the first 4 ingredients: sausage, beans, tomatoes & onion. Add a few dashes of the hot pepper sauce and some pinches of salt & pepper. You can always add more at the end if you need more seasoning.
Set your slow cooker for 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
Cook the rice before you are ready to serve. I used Trader Joe's brown rice that you microwave in a bag...very easy. Stir everything and see if you need to add any more seasoning.
When you are ready to eat, serve the mixture over brown rice and enjoy your simple & yummy meal!
