I’m the first to admit that I haven’t been consistent in making my kids do chores. I’ll do pretty good in the Summer and then when we are busy during the school year the routines comes and goes. During this season of life in having to be home more, I decided it’s time to up my game and be consistent with having my kids do chores, who’s with me???

The chore chart comes with stickers, so I’ll mark which chores can earn money and which ones are done with no pay.
I’m having my boys start their chores after breakfast. When they go to get dressed for the day it will be followed up with chores afterward. I think this will be a good morning routine. When they go back to school they will need to make their bed in the morning and then do the rest of their chores after school.

Certain chores they will be expected to do daily, while others they will be done weekly. Also, I didn’t add it in my chart but I will have them help with packing their own lunches for school too.

The idea is to add some routine into our kids lives right now. Doing chores helps us Mama’s out and teaches our kids responsibility. Let’s all try and be consistent and get our kids doing chores!!
