I love reading to my boys! It’s a fun, enjoyable bonding time that we all look forward to. I like to add books to our seasonal collection each year. I usually surprise them at the beginning of the month with a new holiday book. It gets us all excited for the month ahead and it is a fun tradition. I thought I would show you a round up of our current Halloween book collection.

// Skeleton Hiccups: This book is so silly and my boys crack up throughout the entire book. It’s about a skeleton trying all these different strategies to get rid of his hiccups.

// Five Little Pumpkins: This small toddler book is super cute and Tyler still enjoys it. It is short and sweet.

// Little Blue Truck’s Halloween: Tyler loves the Little Blue Truck’s books so this one was a no brainer to add to our collection. It is a lift-the-flap book, has cute illustrations and is a fun read with your toddler/preschooler.

// It’s Pumpkin Day, Mouse!: Who doesn’t love the cute mouse of “If you give a Mouse a Cookie”?? It’s a fun read and we love all the faces on the pumpkins. A great book for toddlers & preschoolers.

// Gustavo The Shy Ghost: This book was our new addition this year. We love the illustrations they are so GOOD! It’s a nice story about Gustavo a ghost that is so shy it cripples him from thinking he can make friends. But he learns how his qualities can shine through and how it is possible for him to relate to the other monsters. By the end he learns that he deserves friends by just being himself.

// Room on the Broom: This Halloween story is about a witch and her broom and it is SO cute! The witch goes through a journey to create a perfect broom that has enough room for all her animal friends.

// The Room on the Broom Big Activity Book: This activity book has tons of interactive fun activities that you can do with your kids after you read the “Room on the Broom” book, I highly recommend purchasing this activity book to do with your kids. Both of my boys have enjoyed it and it even has fun spooky food recipes and comes with a lot of variety of games, coloring, crafts too for young and older kids.

// The Sleepless Little Vampire: This book is full of fun illustrations and is a quick read. It’s a good bedtime story to read during the month of October.

I’m always looking to add to our collection, if you have a favorite Halloween book…please drop the name of it in the note section! Happy Reading!!
