Happy Friday, friends!
We had a good week, let’s take a look back at my FAVORITES!
On Family Fun Night, we got pizza and enjoyed watching The Diary of a Wimpy Kid Roderick Rules. Luke is loving watching these movies since he has read so many of the books. Of course, we had a dance party afterward.
On Saturday late afternoon we went over to my parents to celebrate my Auntie D’s (Diane) 75th Birthday! Loved having quality family time especially after all the stressful election drama.
On Sunday morning, Jason made me a delicious omelet while I relaxed with my coffee! Anytime, I get a break from cooking, I’m one happy Mama!
On Sunday night we had Family Game Night! The boys loved enjoying some skittles while we played several rounds of Candyland. It’s Tyler’s new favorite game and he wants to play it now every night, LOL.
This week our new curtains finally got delivered after being on backorder for 4 months! I’ve put off this dreaded task of replacing our window treatments (we have 5 windows) in our master bedroom, for the past 7 years, can you tell that I don’t enjoy doing pretty much anything with walls, LOL.
We are busy on our next few weekends so we are chipping away at this task during the week.
Beautycounter has a lot of amazing gift sets right now for the holiday season! Order early and you can split up some of the sets for hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, or for teacher gifts!
On Veteran’s Day, I took the boys to Micheal’s to purchase Christmas tree’s for their rooms. Each tree only cost $20!! Plus, I printed a coupon online before I left and that took down the costs too. I let them pick out a few decorations and then I let them decorate it exactly how they wanted it to look. It brought them so much joy to have their very own tree in their room and this year, we need all the extra joy and happiness we can get!
