Seven days until Christmas!!

We are in the home stretch my friends, are you feeling ready? Some days I feel more with it than others, LOL.

One thing that is really helping me this year is to wrap gifts as they come in as best as I can. I was determined to do this time-consuming task while the boys were still in school, otherwise, I’m stuck doing it after they go to bed. And I don’t know about you but that is my downtime and I’m done wanting to work, HA! My goal is to enjoy wrapping rather than being exhausted and not looking forward to it. But I swear I’m always sweating by the end of each session so I’m counting it as a second workout somedays, BHAHAHA 🙂

Alright, Family Fun Night went much better this week! We brought back some Christmas favorites from Jason and my childhood. Luke had seen them before but Tyler hadn’t and they were a HIT!

First, we watched the original cartoon of the Grinch!

So Good!!

Next up was Frosty The Snowman!

The final show of the evening was, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer!

Snuggles with this cutie during the movie is a FAVORITE!

After the shows, we let Tyler pick an activity of his choice and it was to play cars and trucks with his road tape together. I’m telling you mama’s if you don’t have this stuff for your car-loving kids, it’s a must buy and perfect for a stocking present!

Speaking of stocking stuffers, in case you missed it here’s my gift guide!

On Sunday we went to the San Clemente Outlet Mall and took the boys to visit Santa with my parents. They did an amazing job of creating a safe environment so the kids are still able to enjoy this fun tradition. This entire day was an absolute FAVORITE for all of us!

I mean how cute is this setup?!?!
I liked the bench idea so everyone had a place to sit in front of Santa.

Listening to Tyler talk with Santa was so adorable and he was counting down the days until he got to see Santa, he was a very happy boy!

They had a real Christmas Tree and claim that it’s the largest in the world, not sure if this is in fact true but it was HUGE and SO beautiful!

Sorry in advance for all the pictures but they were all so cute and I was so happy to have a fun outing out with my family that I couldn’t decide which ones….LOL!

The boys cute outfits are from H&M!
They had cute moving reindeer in several of the balconies and the boys LOVED it!
My parents took us to a private area on the second floor where they have been before and we had the entire place to ourselves and enjoyed a drink! Luke photobombing in the background, HA!

On Sunday evening after dinner, we got into pajamas and took the boys to see Christmas lights, it’s a FAVORITE tradition of ours. We like to go to Nellie Gail in Laguna Hills. They have so many homes that put up lights and the neighborhood isn’t behind a gate so you can easily drive around to enjoy all the festive lights.

Some homes had an explosion of cuteness!

A FAVORITE for us was receiving this basket of delicious muffins from our neighbors and good friends, The Gilmore’s! They can definitely bake and I’m here for it!

So cute, right?!?!

This past weekend we had the boys go through their toys (I helped too) and pick out ones that are still in good condition to donate to kids. They took this task seriously and it was a FAVORITE to watch their hearts grow with generosity.

Happiness for this mama is getting some toys out of our home before new ones come in!

Shenanigans from Elfis our Elf this past week were a FAVORITE for the boys!

Luke’s like, “he did a great job at his Elf training this year!” BHAHAHA
Elfis had an encounter this past week with our sweet lady that cleans our home 2x a month and the poor guy had to hang on like this for half of a day, LOL

A funny FAVORITE of this week was when my husband had a virtual event with his work. They received a very expensive piece of steak and while on a zoom call with his group, they were to cook their steaks together and enjoy the meal over nice conversation.

Well, the steak turned out delicious but while cooking it, Jason managed to smoke out our house, turn on the fire alarm and I had the fire department come on through our security system to see if we needed help. The good news is our system works great in case of an emergency. Sorry, Jay, I had to tell the story of the very lively event that took place and his entire team got to witness it while he was on the zoom call, BHAHAHA!

A FAVORITE for Luke this week was having a zoom meeting with his class at nighttime where a few of the teachers took turns reading holiday stories to the kids. They sent home a hot chocolate packet for them to enjoy while listening to the stories. I love how creative the teachers are at coming up with new ideas to make this time special for our kids.

In case you missed this fun post, you can read all about our trip to Arizona to see the North Pole Experience, the Grand Canyon, Bearazona, and the Polar Express Train ride!

Lastly, Tyler received this fun Santa bubble maker from our Elf! Elfis likes to sprinkle in a few fun holiday-related items to our boys to make the season extra fun and special. You can find it HERE.

I hope you all have a fun and festive holiday weekend with your family!

XO
