Mom with a Plan

Friday Favorites // April 3, 2020

Another week down in being quarantined. We don’t love it but we are starting to get used to our new temporary routines. We find Joy everyday as well as challenges and struggles. Here are some favorites that brought us happiness this week!

1// Play-Doh Kitchen Creations was a FAVORITE of the boys this week!

4// Our nightly walks have become a nice family ritual. On this night the boys took a stroll in the red wagon and they were so cute it was a FAVORITE!

5// Luke finishing his Hidden Side Newbury Haunted High School LEGO Set was a huge FAVORITE for him. So many cool details and you can go on the app for the lego set to see how it is haunted.

6// The boys taking a bubble bath together was a FAVORITE for all of us! Not sure how many more times they will do this together but it sure is fun to play in a bathtub full of bubbles!

7// Boys playing mini Chef’s and deciding what they were going to cook up for me was a FAVORITE!

8// Family Fun Night and seeing “Onward” was a FAVORITE from this past weekend!

Enjoying their Ice Cream Sundaes!!
My ice cream sundae….NO SHAME in my game! I enjoyed every bite and it makes all the working out worth it to indulge 🙂

9// We decorated for Easter and Tyler wanted to make his own decorations per his usual. Then he decided he needed to leave them by the fireplace for when the Easter Bunny arrives!! I guess he comes in the same way as Santa, lol and this was a funny FAVORITE!

10// Other fun activites we’ve done this week that were FAVORITES are: Tyler’s latest Maga-tile creation, water coloring Easter pictures and lining up cars by color. Tyler loves playing kitchen and we made a grocery store called, Tyler’s Fresh Groceries. Tyler helped sort the food by category and worked on his basic money skills. We took it a step further and then made menus and played restaurant. It was a fun afternoon of using our imaginations and playing pretend!

You can find some Magna-tiles HERE

Have a great weekend, friends!!
